Weyermann® CARAMUNICH® Type 2 is a medium-dark caramel malt that delivers richer flavor and deeper color than Type 1. With a color range of 40–50 Lovibond, it imparts toasted bread, caramelized sugar, and dried fruit notes while enhancing body and mouthfeel. Brewer’s Guidance

Use CARAMUNICH® Type 2 at 5–15% of the grist for subtle depth or up to 20% in malt-forward styles for pronounced caramel, dried fruit, and toasted bread character. Its versatile flavor contribution makes it valuable in both ales and lagers.
