Brewer’s Guidance

Use CARAFA® Special Type 1 at 1–5% of the grist for subtle roasted accents or up to 10% in darker styles for pronounced color and flavor. Its smooth, dehusked character makes it especially suitable for refining the balance of dark lagers and ales.
