FerMonster 6 Gallon Plastic Fermenter
The FerMonster 6 Gallon Plastic Fermenter is a lightweight, durable fermentation vessel designed for beer, wine, cider, mead, and other fermented beverages. Its clear PET construction lets you easily monitor fermentation, while the wide-mouth design makes filling, cleaning, dry hopping, and ingredient additions simple and convenient.
Wide-Mouth Design
The large 4-inch opening provides significantly easier access than a traditional narrow-neck carboy. The wide opening simplifies filling and cleaning and makes it easy to add hops, fruit, oak, spices, and other ingredients directly to the fermenter.
Clear PET Construction
The FerMonster is made from food-grade PET plastic that is lightweight, durable, and highly resistant to oxygen penetration. The clear construction allows you to monitor fermentation activity, yeast sediment, and clarification without opening the fermenter.
Smooth and Easy to Clean
The FerMonster uses smooth sides without the ribs or deep surface textures commonly found on other plastic fermenters. This reduces places where yeast and sediment can collect and makes cleaning and sanitation easier between batches.
6-Gallon Capacity
The 6-gallon capacity works well for many standard home fermentation applications and includes molded volume markings at both 5 and 6 gallons. Its compact size also makes it a useful choice for brewers looking for a fermentation vessel that requires less storage space than larger carboys.

Brew Tips
Clean and sanitize the fermenter, lid, O-ring, stopper, airlock, and any equipment that will contact your wort or finished beverage before use. Use a soft cloth, sponge, or other non-abrasive cleaning tool inside the fermenter to help prevent scratches in the PET surface. When moving a full fermenter, support the vessel securely rather than lifting it by the lid or neck.
Why Choose a FerMonster?
The FerMonster combines the visibility of a traditional carboy with the convenience of a modern wide-mouth fermenter. Its lightweight PET construction, smooth interior, large opening, and clear walls make it a practical alternative to heavier glass carboys for both new and experienced homebrewers.
