Weyermann® Pale Wheat Malt is a light wheat malt that adds subtle flavor and structure to a wide variety of beers. Weyermann® Pale Wheat Malt increases protein content, which improves foam stability, enhances mouthfeel, and contributes to a hazy appearance in certain styles. Its light character integrates easily with base and specialty malts, making it a go-to for both texture and subtle flavor contributions.

Brewer’s Guidance

Use Pale Wheat Malt at 5–50% of the grist depending on the recipe. Lower percentages improve head retention and body in non-wheat styles, while higher inclusions create the foundation for traditional wheat beers with smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
