Omega Dried Lutra Kveik – 11 g Dry Beer Yeast
Brand: Omega Yeast
Why Brewers Love It
Dried Lutra brings the same shockingly clean profile as the liquid strain in a convenient dry format. It rips through wort fast, stays neutral across a huge temperature range, tolerates big ABV, and drops bright, so you can turn crisp pseudo-lagers or clean ales without long conditioning times.
Flavor and Aroma Profile
Very clean and neutral with low ester expression when fermented in the 68-72 °F (20-22 °C) range for pseudo-lagers. At warmer temperatures it remains clean compared to most ale strains, keeping focus on malt and hops.
Best Uses
- Pseudo-lagers and cold-crisp ales – lager-like character without extended lagering.
- Clean American ales – Pale, IPA, Blonde, Amber when you want speed and neutrality.
- High gravity beers – strong ales and stouts where fast, clean attenuation matters.
- Hard seltzer, cider, mead – gluten-free production and simple-sugar ferments with proper nutrients.

Brew Tips
- For the most lager-like profile, pitch cool at 64-68 °F (18-20 °C) and allow a gentle rise to 68-72 °F (20-22 °C).
- When speed is critical, pitch warm around 86-90 °F (30-32 °C). Expect rapid, clean attenuation.
- Oxygenate well and provide adequate yeast nutrients for high gravity worts or simple-sugar ferments.
- Chill or fine post-fermentation if you want bright beer quickly; the strain flocculates well for a dry yeast.
- Store sealed and cold. After opening, keep below 39 °F (4 °C) and use promptly.
