Taste & Character

A U.S.-grown specialty base malt, Goldpils® Vienna offers rich malty depth with a biscuity nuance, light golden color (~3.5°L), and exceptionally clean finish.

Where It Shines

Traditional choice for Vienna lagers, Oktoberfests, and Märzens—also useful in ales and darker lagers whenever you want malty complexity without overly redemption notes.

Role in the Brewhouse

A specialty base malt with strong enzymatic power (approx. 80 Lintner), and ~80% extract—it supports mash conversion even at high inclusion while contributing color and flavor.

Brewer’s Guidance

Use up to 100% for traditional styles; 10–15% additions enrich richer ales or Bocks with biscuit-like complexity.
